In a crowded room, surround by friends and family, Wharton wide receiver Auden Tate made his decision.  He's heading to Florida State.

“I feel like break dancing, that’s just how excited I am," his dad Heanon Tate said. "His mother and I didn’t tell him where we thought the best fit was, but FSU was it.”

Auden agreed, "Coaches felt like family, and my parents love them.”

Tate's an early commit, meaning the wildcat receiver has another year at Wharton before moving on to Florida State.  Still, he day dreams about the day he'll catch passes from FSU quarterback Jameis Winston.

“Oh that’s exciting because he’s a good qb," Tate confirms. "He's NFL ready.”
