LAND O'LAKES - Sunlake's volleyball team is soaring to new heights this season.  The seahawks have started the season 11-2 and show no signs of stopping.

"I know that we could definitley take districts," said seahawk senior Sarah Sprague. "Going to State? We definitely have the talent and mentality to do it, we just have to push for it."

Sprague has a bounce in her step as soon as she walks into the gymnasium, and once you understand her passion for the sport, it makes sense.

"I just can't get enough of it," Sprague said. "I play year-round.  If it's indoor, club, beach, it's awesome."

"Sarah does eat, sleep, and breathe volleyball," said Seahawks head coach Deann Newton. "She's very passionate about it, and I think it's great for our entire team."

Her passion for the game has elevated the seahawks' game to new heights.  Now, her biggest hope, is a state title for her team.
