The #1 nationally ranked Montverde Academy boys soccer team defeated the 17th ranked Coppell (TX) Cowboys 1-0 to win the 4th annual Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament (MAST) on Saturday night.

Senior Andre Shinyashiki scored the decisive goal with 26 minutes to play in the first half, as the Eagles (23-0) beat the Cowboys (3-2) in the final for the second straight year.

MVA is now unbeaten in 117 contests dating back to the 2011 season, and has virtually clinched its' fourth national championship in five seasons.

Shinyashiki, a high division one soccer prospect, won the tourney MVP, and Golden Boot with five goals over three games.

The Eagles are a perfect 12-and-0 in the MAST, which has attracted some of the best high school soccer teams from around the country.
