Calvary Christian started the game on a 8-0 run thanks in part to the Plentovich sisters, Carley and Savannah who finished with 10, 11 points respectively.

Winter Haven's defense came on strong in the second half, jumpstarting the Blue Devils offense who ran out to a 12 point lead.

Winter Haven's Tatiana Thompson finished the night with 15 points.

Calvary cut the lead to make it close, but Winter Haven's Shantrice Solomon hit a key basket to give the Blue Devils a one point lead, 55-54.

Solomon was the BHSN player of the game. She finished the game with nine second half points, including the game-winning shot and three rebounds. 

Calvary drops to 19-1 with their first loss of the season and Winter Haven improves to 22-3.

The second game of the doubleheader, featured the Land O'Lakes and host school Northeast.

Early on it looked like the Gators were going to run away with the contest after a 10-1 run. Northeast couldn't buy a basket.

Northeast's defense turned it around forcing 27 turnovers, leading to the 59-46 win for the Vikings.

Northeast's scoring featured a balanced attack, Mikaela Hudson finished with 9 points off the bench, Maddie Winningham had 11, including 3-3 pointers and BHSN player of the game, Zoi Thompson had 17 points, 4 steals.

302nd for Northeast head coach William White. The Vikings also set a new school record for wins in a season with 22.

The Gators drop to 20-3.
