The Jesuit Tigers won in dominating fashion over Tampa Catholic, 65-48 at the Tiger Palace for their seventh straight win over their archrival.

A balanced scoring attack, coupled with a tough defense, paved the way for the easy win.  Eight different Tigers scored, led by BHSN Player of the Game Christian Whidden with 16 points and ten rebounds.  Stevie Darst scored 15 points, while Lee Green pitched in a season-high 10 points off the bench.

Fans expected to see the dynamic duo of Thomas Dziagwa and Kevin Knox light up the scoreboard for the Crusaders, as the pair entered the game averaging over 50 points/game.  Knox held up his end of the bargain, pouring in 30 points and recording his seventh double-double in his last eight games by adding 14 rebounds.  But Jesuit's stifling defense limited Dziagwa to a season-low five points on 1-of-7 shooting.

The Tigers improve to 13-5 and will face Spoto on January 16th in their next game.  The Crusaders fall to 12-6 and will look to bounce back on Tuesday vs. Sarasota Miltary Academy.
