Largo High School senior Alexis Franco has signed her National Letter of Intent to play tennis at Wake Forest University.
Playing at number one singles for the Packers as a sophomore, Franco won both a district and regional title, while advancing to the final round of the Class 3A Individual Tournament.
She also qualified for the state finals in doubles, advancing to the final round of the Class 3A Individual Doubles Tournament.
She is coached by Maria Cercone from the Bardmoor Tennis Academy.
Franco will be studying Health and Exercise Science with plans to attend medical school.
