Lake Mary High School made a clean sweep of the team awards at the 3A State Golf Championships, winning both the boys and girls titles.

Austin Hitt led the way for the Lake Mary boys team, winning the 3A Individual State Championship as well. Hitt hit a 142, finishing with 4 birdies. The senior is committed to play golf at the University of North Carolina. The boys team won the team award for the second year in a row with a 606, 18 strokes ahead of the competition.

The Lake Mary Lady Rams also took the team title in a much more narrow margin, shooting a combined score of 602.

Coming in second for the boys was sophomore Jackson Suber of Plant High School, who shot a 145. Plant also came in tied for second in the team title with a combined total of 624.

As far as the girls individual title, it came down to a playoff between Viera's Sophie Liu and Seminole's Alyssa Lamoureux. Both finished regulation with a 140, but Alyssa took the first place prize in a 3 hole playoff.
