Colton Rausch is Mr. Everything for Auburndale High School.

"Basically, anything you'd ask in an athlete, and a student, too," Gilbert Jones, Auburndale's wrestling coach, said.

A three-sport star, Rausch is an all-state football offensive lineman for the Bloodhounds, but this year he's making a name for himself as the school's top wrestler.

"Wrestling, you control you own destiny," Rausch said.

Rausch has gotten it alright, and it goes beyond his 31-1 record. He also earned himself a super hero nickname.

"They started calling me Captain America. I like the sound of that, because I like the Captain America movies and the Captain America Avengers, so I'm like, you know what, I'll adopt that."

"I think the kid believes he's Captain America. The confidence it gives him when he puts on that other head gear."

It's given him super powers, which he used to take first place in the George Jenkins tournament. It was his best showing of the season.

"We all saw it. Not just me, everybody saw it. He changed. He improved. It's a great thing because that's one of his best matched and best tournaments that he put together."

"Every tournament this year, I've either placed first or second at. When I got to George Jenkins, I just kept that mindset."

Colton has the wins, a 4.0 GPA and is active in his community, but there's one thing left he hopes to achieve.
