On the final lap of Sunday's Daytona 500, three-time race champion Jeff Gordon found himself in an undesirable position in his last attempt at a Daytona 500 win.

Gordon, who led 87 laps on the day, was caught up in a last-lap crash that resulted in a 33rd place finish.

Although the day ended in smoke for the four-time NASCAR champion, the weekend was filled with enjoyment as Gordon begins his final full-time Sprint Cup season.

BHSN's Andy Wontor caught up with Gordon following the 57th Daytona 500.
