As of now, Jameis Winston is not planning on attending the 2015 NFL Draft, according to media reports.

Winston is projected by many to be the top pick in late April's NFL Draft, which will be held in Chicago. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who went 2-14 this season, hold the No. 1 overall selection.

Sports Illiustrated is reporting Winston plans to spend draft night with his family and friends in Alabama, but that could change in the coming months.

Winston met with Tampa Bay Buccaneers ownership on March 3, hoping to prove he's worthy of being the future face of the franchise. On the field, his talent is unquestioned, but Winston has had numerous off-the-field transgressions during his career at Florida State that has many questioning his maturity.

The 2013 Heisman Trophy winner, Winston finished his career 27-1 as the starting quarterback for the Seminoles, leading the 'Noles to a national championship last season.

The NFL Draft will begin on April 30.
