The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed another former Dallas Cowboy player, and are reportedly interested in another one.

Cornerback Sterling Moore becomes the third ex-Cowboy signed by the Bucs this offseason, joining linebacker Bruce Carter and defensive tackle Henry Melton. Moore is getting a one-year deal worth a potential $1.52 million.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that the agent for George Selvie said that the Bucs are interested in the ex-USF All-American.

Selvie, who had two productive seasons with the Cowboys, was scheduled to visit with the New York Giants on Thursday.

Here's the Bucs' press release regarding Moore's signing:

Moore (5-10, 202) joins Tampa Bay from the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent the 2013-14 seasons, as well as part of the 2012 season. In his four-year career, Moore has played in 40 regular season games with 10 starts, totaling 79 tackles, 19 passes defensed, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and three interceptions returned for a total of 47 yards and one touchdown. Moore has also played in five postseason contests, starting two and totaling 10 tackles and six passes defensed.

A native of Anitoch, California, Moore played collegiately at Southern Methodist and originally entered the league as a college free agent in 2011, signing with the Oakland Raiders. In his rookie season he spent time on the Raiders’ practice squad before joining the New England Patriots and splitting time between the practice squad and active roster. That season, he helped the Patriots capture an AFC Championship and an appearance in Super Bowl XLVI. In 2012, he was signed to Dallas’ active roster from New England’s practice squad.
