The Jesuit Tigers continued their winning ways, taking down Pinellas Park 2-1 for their 13th win in their last 16 games. Wake Forest signee Bobby Hearn picked up his third win of the season, limiting the Patriots to just three hits and one earned run while striking out six, and Florida State signee Ronnie Ramirez got out of a jam in the 6th inning as he earned his fifth save of the year, striking out four over the final two innings.

Pinellas Park got on the board first, with Triston Allen drawing a walk in the second inning that would eventually lead to courtesy runner Giovany Cruz scoring on Scottie Thomas' groundout. Allen pitched a complete game for the Patriots, allowing only one Tiger base hit and no earned runs.

The Tigers rallied in the bottom of the fourth. Kennie Taylor (signed with Duke) reached on an error and scored on an Allen wild pitch, while Nick Smith's sacrifice fly scored Duncan Hunter for the go-ahead and eventual game-winning run. The catcher Smith earned Player of the Game honors, as he also contributed a single and threw out two Patriots base runners.

Jesuit improves to 13-7 and will face Tampa Catholic on Tuesday, live on Bright House Sports Network at 7 PM. Pinellas Park falls to 9-9 and will look to regain momentum in Dunedin's Spring Classic Tournament that begins on Monday.
