For the first time, a rising senior came away with "Top Quarterback" honors at John Kaleo's Tampa Quarterback Challenge.

Clearwater High School's Garrison Bryant topped seven other competitors in the final round of the competition, which was presented by DeBartolo Sports and Events and the John Kaleo Quarterback Academy.

Bryant was impressive in the three-part final round of the event, compiling the top score with great mental and physical skills while precisely throwing at targets.

There were 108 participants in the event, which was broken down into four age groups.

All of the quarterbacks present benefitted from the drills set up by quarterback guru John Kaleo.

Kaleo says he uses similar drills when he works with college football players who are preparing for the NFL combine.

This was the fourth year Kaleo hosted the event at the University of Tampa.
