Home games against 2015 NCAA Tournament teams Albany, Cincinnati, NC State, SMU and UAB highlight the USF men’s basketball schedule, which was released in its entirety on Tuesday.

“This is a challenging schedule for us, as five of our 13 non-conference opponents played in postseason tournaments last season,” said head coach Orlando Antigua. “Our conference has been regarded as one of the best in the country and this season will be no different with many experienced and senior-laden teams.”

The Bulls begin the season at 7 p.m. on Nov. 9 with an exhibition against Eckerd College in the Sun Dome. USF will then host Troy in the season-opening game on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.

As previously announced, USF will host NJIT on Nov. 16. The first-ever meeting is a part of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Classic, which also includes home games against Boston University (Nov. 21) and 2015 NCAA Tournament participant Albany (Nov. 24), as well as a neutral-site contest against Kentucky, the winningest team in college basketball history, on Nov. 27 in Miami, Fla.

USF will face George Washington for the first time in 15 years on Nov. 19 in Tampa. The Colonials finished last season 22-13 while winning their first-round game in the NIT.

The Bulls will travel to Delaware for a game against the Blue Hens on Dec. 3 before playing at South Carolina on Dec. 5. The fifth-ever meeting in the series features the only two Hispanic NCAA Division I head coaches in Antigua and the Gamecocks’ Frank Martin. South Carolina returns all five starters from last season’s team which went 17-16.

NC State, which advanced to the Sweet 16 last season, comes to the Sun Dome for a game on Dec. 13. It is a return game from the one that USF lost, 68-65, last season in Raleigh.

USF hosts Jacksonville on Dec. 16 before hosting defending Conference USA champion UAB on Dec. 19. The Bulls defeated the Blazers, 73-71, in overtime in Birmingham, Ala., last season.

USF will face another 2014-15 opponent on Dec. 22, when it plays at Seton Hall.

For the second consecutive season, all American Athletic Conference teams will play an 18-game conference schedule, which includes a home-and-home with eight teams and two one-plays. USF will play Tulsa and UConn one time this season.

The Bulls open American Athletic Conference play at home against Houston on Dec. 30. Other home conference games include Cincinnati (Jan. 10), Tulane (Jan. 12), UCF (Jan. 20), Temple (Jan. 31), SMU (Feb. 7), Memphis (Feb. 20), UConn (Feb. 25) and East Carolina (March 2). USF’s conference road games are at SMU (Jan. 2), at UCF (Jan. 6), at Memphis (Jan. 16), at Houston (Jan. 23), at Tulane (Jan. 27), at Cincinnati (Feb. 4), at Temple (Feb. 14), at East Carolina (Feb. 16) and at Tulsa (March 5).

The 2015 American Athletic Conference Championship will be held March 10-13 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
