The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have waived running back Mike James.

James was originally drafted by the Buccaneers in the sixth round (189th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. In three seasons with Tampa Bay, James played in 20 games, with three starts, rushing 79 times for 332 yards and catching 11 passes for 38 yards.

The team also announced that they have released cornerback Imoan Claiborne from the practice squad and signed defensive tackle Derrick Lott to the practice squad.

Lott (6-4, 314) spent Week 2 on Tampa Bay’s practice squad.
