They're back.

The Bucs returned to the field following their bye week and they're feeling good about the rest of the season.

"The break allows you to rest and refocus, get ready for going into the rest of the season," defensive tackle Clinton McDonald said. "It's going to be a long haul, got 11 more.

"Just get focused for the long haul and the task at hand which is to try and go out here and win the rest of these games."

A game below .500, but sitting pretty with a perfect 2-0 NFC South Division record, the Bucs have a tough stretch of three games in 12 days. Getting some of their injured players back will help.

One player who returned to the practice field on Monday was wide receiver Louis Murphy. Coming off an ACL injury, there were times he wondered if he could make a comeback. Murphy reached out to others, such as Minnesota's Adrian Peterson and Green Bay's Jordy Nelson seeking advice.

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about retiring," Murphy said. "It's really tough. I commend anyone who has ever come off ACL. It's really tough mentally. I'm just glad to be back."

The Bucs are glad to be back and hoping to build off the momentum they've got going.

"Beat a divisional team on the road, it's huge, especially on Monday Night Football and going into the bye week," offensive lineman Donovan Smith said. "It showed us who we are as a team and what we can be for the rest of the season."
