The Orlando Magic suffered their worst loss of the preseason Tuesday night in Miami falling to a Heat team playing with mainly reserves 107-77.

Head coach Frank Vogel led his team through practice today as they prepare for their final preseason game on Thursday. The entire team practiced, including Aaron Gordon and Bismack Biyombo who sat out last night due to an ankle injury and for rest respectively.

Frank Vogel said he plans to treat Thursday night’s preseason finale against the New Orleans Pelicans as game one of the season, meaning more minutes for the starters.

The preseason has been a disappointment for the Magic as they sit at 1-5 and have given up 100 points on defense 5 times. Last night, the Heat went small and played fast with their reserves, giving Orlando’s defense problems, something they’re working on correcting.

"It’s not going to be one of those years hopefully where we have many performances like last night," said Vogel. "We’re not always going to play well, but my things is we want to have that group where even when the shots aren't falling or the execution offensively isn’t there, our defense can carry us, and our defense was just as bad last night."

"We were soft, and we agree, we have to pick it up," said Serge Ibaka.
