The smallest schools had a big night at your 1a state swimming and diving championships.
The Lake Highland ladies started it off right -- first race of the night -- a 200 medley relay victory.
And then they did it again! Bookending their evening with another victory -- this one in the 400 free relay. The girls proving they are strongest as a team, finishing in third in the team championship to boot.
And Highlander Hayden Curley -- he is the coaches son! He makes dad proud tonight-- a 2nd place finish in the 500 free and a win in the 200 yard freestyle.
How about Robert Cecil?? The Berkeley prep senior with two individual first place finishes -- he raises his arms in victory each time -- those wins in the 50 and 100 free.
The senior also took second in the 400 free relay and third in the 200 free relay with his teammates. Berkeley prep going on to win second overall -- celebrating hard.
