Two former Florida Gators will be in Chicago on Thursday for the 2016 NFL Draft. Vernon Hargreaves, a sure first round pick, and Keanu Neal, who is projected to be drafted anywhere from the first round to the third.

Hargreaves is a Wharton High School graduate who came to Florida three years ago as a five-star athlete. Having spent three years of his high school career in Tampa, the fact that his name has been linked to the Tampa Bay Bucs, is truly exciting.

“That’d be great, that’d be amazing. My Mom would be right down the street so that’d be good,” said Hargreaves when talking about the possibility of being drafted 9th by the Bucs.

South Sumter High School graduate Keanu Neal started the draft process as a projected second or third round draft pick. But strong performances at both the Combine and UF’s Pro Day have moved Neal’s name into first round consideration.

The attention has been fun but Keanu, is just ready for the draft process to be behind him.

“I’m ready for it to be over honestly, ready to start training, start getting ready for whatever team that picks me,” said Keanu at UF’s Pro Day.
