Love him or hate him, Warren Sapp generates a reaction.

His name hangs in the Ring of Honor as one of the greatest Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His bust rests in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as nod to his status as one of the greatest defensive tackles to play the game.

But his reputation and image were tarnished with a series of controversial incidents that threatened to take down a seemingly indestructible force.

BHSN's Katherine Smith sat down with Sapp for an exclusive interview that will premiere Sunday at 6 p.m. on Your Sports (Channel 47/HD1147).

Sapp discusses a variety of subjects, including his arrest:

“I’ve never been one to hide behind who or what I am because I’ve told you for a long time, I don’t care what people think about me. I don’t care what people say about me. I know who and what I am and I haven’t put my hands on anybody in a physical form.”

On the current state of the Bucs:

“I’m a Buccaneer that bleeds pewter and red, no doubt about it. There’s no question who or what I am. And I love watching us now. We got a quarterback, we got a quarterback.”

On the legacy of the Tampa 2:

"The Purple People eaters, you can only find them in Minnesota. The Steel Curtain, you only find them in Pittsburgh. Tampa 2 is world-wide known. No one else can reduplicate what we did. I mean, it was our thing. We perfected it."
