Free-agent point guard D.J. Augustin has agreed to terms on a 4-year, $29 million deal with the Orlando Magic.

Last season Augustin played in only 28 games for the Denver Nuggets after a late-season trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder.  In his short stint with the Nuggets, he averaged 11.6 ppg and 4.7 apg.

The 9-year veteran out of Texas has become an NBA journeyman having played for Charlotte, Indiana, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Oklahoma City, Denver and now Orlando.

He was selected ninth overall by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2008 NBA Draft.

While at the University of Texas, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame awarded Augustin the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award.
