ORLANDO  – Orlando City SC (4-4-8, 20 points) returns to Camping World Stadium when it hosts the Houston Dynamo (4-8-5, 17 points) on Friday, July 8, for its second game in five days. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.

The match will be nationally televised on UniMás and will be transmitted locally on Real Radio 104.1 FM in English and La Grande 1030 AM in Spanish.

Friday will mark Bobby Murphy’s first game as the team’s interim head coach after the Club amicably parted ways with Adrian Heath and assistant Mark Watson. He is regularly an assistant coach for the Lions. Orlando City B head coach Anthony Pulis has also joined the first team technical staff as interim assistant coach.

“The [players] love the fans, love the city. Tomorrow night, they will do everything they can to reflect that commitment, desire and love back to the fanbase,” Lions Interim Head Coach Bobby Murphy said. “If we win tomorrow, we’re right back in the middle of the playoffs with a couple games in hand. We’re right in the middle of this thing and we can go and make a run at it.”

This is the second-ever meeting between these two teams. City earned its first MLS win in its second game last season after Pedro Ribeiro forced goalkeeper Tyler Deric into misplaying the ball, eventually muscling past him to head the ball, Deric and himself, into the back of the net.

Orlando City fell to FC Dallas 4-0 at Toyota Stadium in its most recent match on the Fourth of July. Walker Zimmerman started the scoring for the Toros in the 11th minute before Fabian Castillo capped it off in stoppage time. Lions goalkeeper Joe Bendik finished with six saves.

Kevin Molino and Cyle Larin lead the team with six and eight goals, respectively, while Molino is tied with Kaká for the team lead with five assists. Bendik is fourth in MLS with 57 saves.

Houston is coming off a 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union last Saturday. The Dynamo took advantage of an 87th-minute Joshua Yaro red card when Cristián Maidana downed his former club on a free kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Giles Barnes, Will Bruin and Andrew Wenger lead the Dynamo with four goals each, while Boniek García leads the team with five assists.

City heads on the road for three consecutive games after Friday. The Lions visit the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, July 13, for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Following just three days later is a trip to Vancouver before visiting Columbus on July 23. The Lions return to Camping World Stadium on Sunday, July 31, to host the New England Revolution at 7:30 p.m. ET
