Clearwater Central Catholic survived a scare from Berkeley Prep to extend their regular season win streak to 12 games, taking down the Buccaneers 44-27 on a special Thursday night Game of the Week.

Senior QB Jakob Parks led the high-powered offense with four total TD, connecting on TD passes to C.J. Cotman, Amari Burney (twice) and running for a TD of his own.  Parks connected with ten different receivers and finished 15-of-25 for 257 yards.  Cotman accounted for 91 receiving yards and Burney tallied 69 receiving yards.

The Marauders jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, scoring on two of their first three plays.  Jervon Newton took it 28 yards to put CCC on the board, before Cotman exploded for a 67-yd TD off of a screen pass, just over two minutes into the game.

But the Buccaneers fought back in the second quarter to tie the game at 20.  Davis Koetter threw for three first-half touchdowns - the first a 15-yd pass to Joshua Youngblood, followed by two TD passes to Zack Mathis.  Gordon Stetson had a second-half TD run and finished with 101 rushing yards.

CCC was able to pull away in the second half, with Burney's second TD reception and a 65-yd interception return for TD by Dilan Scargle.

The Marauders extended their winning streak over Berkeley Prep to three games, and will look to extend their regular season win streak to 13 next week vs. Indian Rocks Christian.  The Buccaneers will look to rebound vs. Victory Christian.
