UCF Football’s fall camp pushed on today and head coach Scott Frost still hasn’t named a starting quarterback. In fact the Knights have yet to name any starters.

Coach Frost still saying competitions are open, and that the best players will play no matter of age. The Knights could see an abundance of youth take the field this upcoming season. Currently 25 true freshman are on the roster with several of them figuring prominently in camp, especially on offense. Coach Frost is pleased with the strides made so far.

"I think all those guys that are here as freshmen were able to recognize the potential for this place and our vision of what we want this place to look like," said Frost. "We signed a really good class, those guys are pushing the older guys right now across the board, we got some talented guys."

"We’ve got a lot of people that’s fast, quick, things like that, so we’re going to have a lot of advantages over the defense," said freshman wide receiver and Dr. Phillips grad Jaquarius Bargnare. "Anytime we get the ball in our hands we’re going to make a play and anything he needs from us we’re going to do it for him."
