Captain Tom's O'Lenick doesn't run your typical charter service. While he does offer fishing as part of his charters, his other offerings probably draw the most business. From trips on the Silver River to view the monkey colonies to family swimming and picnics on one of the many rivers he charters on, you're sure to have a great day on the water with Captain Tom. He'll even keep you entertained all day with his many jokes and antics.

Capt. Tom also does a lot of nature photography charters and they are so popular because he knows all the rivers he works on like the back of his hand. He knows where to go to find whatever animals you're looking to photograph. While his non-fishing charters are very popular, Capt. Tom is still a very knowledgeable guide who can put you on the fish everytime. He'll even show you how can catch panfish with his bare hands and believe me it is quite the show. While Capt. Tom can certainly put you on some big fish he prefers to take families out for just some fun and relaxing fishing on the river. Trophy fish are normally not his target while chartering.

Captain Tom has four main locations where he conducts his charters. On the Silver and Ocklawaha Rivers off of Highway 40 East he offers sightseeing, picnics, nature study; Silver River, Silver Springs plus the Ocklawaha for more of the same or family fishing for the big one! At the Eureka West Ramp off Highway 316 west of the bridge there are two types of habitats; the natural river to the south or north toward Rodman Reservoir. Good for all activities, especially bird watching and fishing. On Salt Springs off Highway 19 there is a unique spring run to Lake George in the St. John's River. Nature Study (birds of prey), Fishing and seasonal crabbing are the most popular there. On Lake Kerr from the Moorhead Boat Ramp he offers swimming, sightseeing, fishing and nature study charters.

Have boat will travel! Capt. Tom will also travel to other areas for a travel charge of $30 in addition to the private rate: Enjoy the Rainbow, Withlacoochee, St. Johns, Homossassa and Crystal River, Harris Chain of Lakes, Lake Weir, Orange Lake, Cross Creek, Lochloosa and more!

He offers charters lengths from two up to eight hours and up to six people can fit on his 24 foot pontoon boat but if you have more people he also has another boat. Trips are by reservation only so give him a call today!
