1. Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders (11-0) – The Marauders have a big showdown with district Berkeley Prep at home on Tuesday night.
2. Plant Panthers (13-1) – Plant is 4-0 in district play and have only dropped 4 sets up to this point in the season.
3. Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (10-3)-The Bucs are eager to play CCC on Tuesday night and prove who is the best team in 5A District 9.
4. Winter Haven Blue Devils (15-2) – One of the most consistent teams this season resides in Polk County and Coach Damaris Flores has her team on a 4-game winning streak.
5. Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (7-1) – This week has the Lady ‘Canes going up against Tarpon Springs and Robinson. Last week the squad got a nice 3-0 win over St. Petersburg.
6. St. Petersburg Green Devils (11-2) – After a 1-1 week, the Green Devils will have to be ready with the PCAC challenge and Shorecrest Prep coming to town.
7. Academy of Holy Names Jaguars (12-4) – After a valiant effort at Berkeley Prep, the Jaguars will look to get back to .500 in district play with a road match at Cardinal Mooney on Tuesday night.
8. Carrollwood Day Patriots (10-4) – This team has wins over Shorecrest Prep, Lake Highland Prep (Orlando) and the Tampa Bay HEAT.
9. Shorecrest Prep Chargers (13-6) – A lot of matches in recent days have made for a busy time placing Ryan Swanson’s team. But the Chargers have a chance to solidify themselves with matches against Seffner Christian and St. Petersburg later this week.
10. East Lake Eagles (7-1) – Slow and steady wins the race for a team 3-1 in it’s district.
