Pasco County rivals collided on the BHSN Game of the Week with the Fivay Falcons and the Ridgewood Rams packing Anders Court at Ridgewood High school.

After a delay in the action, due to a inadvertent fire alarm, the Falcons swept the Rams three sets to none.

Fivay jumped out to a one set lead and were up 18-14 in the second set when the fire alarm sounded. After about a 10 to 15 minute delay, the teams got going again and Fivay finished off the second set, 25-15, to take a 2-0 lead heading into the third.

In the third, the Rams controlled most of the set, but up 24-20 and the Falcons facing four set points, Fivay rattled off six straight points to finish off the Rams and take the match.

The win improves Fivay to 15-3 and 5-0 in the district. The Rams fall to 8-4 and 6-2 in the district.

Both teams will now face district opponents at home with Fivay taking on Anclote and Ridgewood battling Wesley Chapel.
