A strong second half from #2 Jesuit propelled the Tigers to a 67-61 victory over #5 Calvary Christian at The Tiger Palace.

A 16-4 run to open the third quarter gave Jesuit the momentum they needed to pull away. The Tigers improve to 17-1 and are undefeated vs. in-state opponents.

Jesuit put three players in double figures, with Player of the Game Stevie Darst and Lucas Uzdavinis both tallying a game-high 22 points. Darst was 8-for-12 from the field and added four rebounds while Uzdavinis was a perfect 8-for-8 from the field and 6-for-6 from behind the arc. Thierry Moliere score ten points and dished out six assists.

The Warriors were looking to ride the momentum from their statement win last week over Tampa Prep and looked impressive in the first half, taking a 6-point lead into halftime behind 12 first-half points from Paxton Wilson (18 points on the night).

Eddie Williams carried the load in the second half, scoring 12 of his 14 points. He finished one rebound shy of a double-double.

Jesuit returns to district play on Friday when they host Middleton. Calvary Christian (15-5) has a key district showdown at home vs. Admiral Farragut on Friday.
