It seems too early in the season to already have negative comments coming out of the locker room.

I guess that's what happens when you've lost three straight games.

On Monday, Dirk Koetter responded to questions about reports that safety T.J. Ward has been unhappy with his role in the Bucs defense.

“When you lose games and you lose a game that you probably should have won like that, everybody is frustrated," Koetter said.  "It’s just human nature to be frustrated. I didn’t hear him, so all of this is second-hand to me, but everyone is frustrated. I talked to the team about all of our issues are self-inflicted right now.  The majority of our issues are self-inflicted. We’re the only ones who can fix them. That’s how I handled that.”

Koetter says he had previously met with Ward last week to discuss what Ward needed to do better.

The drama of Ward's comments were magnified when defensive lineman Chris Baker's retweeted an about Ward's comments that seemed to back up Ward's statements.

"I talked to the players today about- anybody who's frustrated or has an issue- the best way to take care of an issue on a team it to go to someone who can do something about it," Koetter said.  "And then I outlined who those people were."

The centerpiece of the Bucs fall from 2-1 to 2-4 has been a combination of too many turnovers, mistakes, and mental errors.

"You've got to look past it," Buccaners cornerback Brent Grimes said.  "You've got to learn from it.  You've got to learn from these game and figure out what we're doing wrong and improve.  It really comes down to what I'm saying.  It's not anything overly complicated.  We just have to play better."

The Bucs are trying to look on the sunny side of things.

With their first two divisional games coming up the next two weeks, the Bucs see this as an opportunity to get back on the right track.
