Kemba Walker had 34 points and 10 assists, and the Charlotte Hornets defeated Orlando 120-113 Sunday to snap the Magic's three-game win streak.

Walker was 15 of 25 from the field and chipped in with six rebounds.

Dwight Howard had a season-high 22 points against his former team, eight of those coming off alley-oop dunks _ two on assists from Walker and two from Jeremy Lamb. Lamb had 20 points, marking his sixth straight game with at least 15 points while filling in for the injured Nic Batum.

Marvin Williams had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Orlando entered the game averaging 118 points per game _ second most in the league behind Golden State_ and having scored at least 100 points in all five games.

However, Charlotte was just better.

The Hornets led by as many as 16 in the second half, but Orlando cut the lead to three at 95-92 with 9 minutes remaining.

That's when Walker took over, knocking down a 3-pointer and adding an and-one on a drive past former teammate Bismack Biyombo. Walker then drove to the lane and dished to Marvin Williams for an easy score to push the lead back to nine.

Walker later scored off a drive and knocked down another 3-pointer to quell another Magic rally.

The Hornets outrebounded the Magic 59-40.

Jonathan Simmons led the Magic with 27 points off the bench on 9-of-15 shooting. Evan Fournier added 23 points and Terrence Ross and Aaron Gordon each had 17.
