The seventh Orlando Touchdown Club meeting of the season is upon us on Monday, November 5th. The group that meets bi-weekly inside the Historic Taproom at Dubsdread in College Park will be recognizing four more high school football athletes to wrap up the regular season.

The club that's been around for nearly seven decades continues its tradition of honoring top high school athletes in Seminole and Orange counties and this week features students from Colonial (1-8)Winter Park (10-0)Seminole (9-1) and Wekiva (9-1).

Week 9 Honorees

Sayeed Decosta, Colonial Junior RB, 200 rushing yards and two touchdowns in loss to Timber Creek

JJ Valle-Smith, Winter Park Junior DE, 14 tackles in District clinching victory over Boone ..team undefeated heading into playoffs

Week 10 Honorees

Timmy McClain, Seminole Freshman QB, 15-for-17 in passing for 248 yards and one touchdown vs. Lake Mary to win Districts

Tyler Davis, Wekiva Junior Nose Guard, 7 tackles, two for a loss and blocked punt to return for score to defeat Apopka for first District Crown in school history

**November 10th begins the playoffs for high school football teams in the area.

The guest speaker for Monday’s meeting will be Mark Packer.
