Tampa Preparatory School has hired Leanna Taylor as its new Volleyball Head Coach, Director of Athletics Mike Flynn announced Tuesday. Taylor replaces Danielle Marante who recently accepted an Assistant Coaching position at Division 1 Marshall University.

"We are excited to have Leanna back home at Prep. As a Tampa Prep Alum ('95), who won three state championships as a player, she has a unique perspective of the Tampa Prep Volleyball Legacy. While her primary duties will be as Varsity Head Coach, she will also be assisting with development of our Middle School volleyball student-athletes as well." said Flynn.

From 2003 to 2011, the University of Tampa Alum was the head coach at Plant High School. During her time at Plant, her teams won six state championships. Most recently (2011-2015), she was Head Volleyball Coach at Queens College in Queens, New York. While at Queens, she also served as the Associate Athletic Director for Student-athlete Performance/ Senior Woman Administrator.
