The Miami Dolphins will look to build on their first playoff appearance in eight years in 2017 with the return of quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The journey begins at home against another team from Florida that figures to be on the rise.

Miami hosts Tampa Bay in Week 1 of the 2017 NFL season. The Dolphins then take long trips in each of the following three weeks. Week 2 in Los Angeles against the Chargers, Week 3 in New York against the Jets, and technically hosting New Orleans in Week 4, but in London.

Three-straight prime time games highlight the middle part of the schedule -- a Thursday-nighter at Baltimore in Week 8, Sunday night in Week 9 hosting Oakland and Monday night in Week 10 at Carolina before the bye week.

After the week off, two showdowns with New England remain. Week 12 in Foxboro, then two weeks later on a Monday night in Miami.
