USF football will open a much anticipated 2017 campaign on Saturday, Aug. 26 with a 7:30 PM (ET) (4:30 PM Pacific Time) kick at San Jose State.

The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network and will be the first of three announced primetime TV appearances for the Bulls in 2017. The American Athletic Conference previously announced USF weekday night games vs. Illinois (Fri., Sept. 15) and Temple (Thur., Sept. 21) in Raymond James Stadium will be broadcast on ESPN. Kickoff times for those games will be announced at a later date.

The Bulls also have an announced national television appearance for the War On I-4 clash at UCF on Friday, Nov. 24. That game will air on ABC or an ESPN network with the yet to be announced kickoff time having the potential to be an afternoon or evening game on Black Friday. The Bulls currently own the War On 1-4 Trophy, having improved their record in the series to 6-2 with a 48-31 victory in Raymond James Stadium last year.

The USF football team that appears in nearly every early preseason Top 25 ranking and returns 16 starters from a bowl game victory over South Carolina.

The annual USF Spring Game on will be held on Saturday, April 15 at Corbett Stadium on the USF campus and will be free to the public. The Spring Game will kick off at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the USF/IMG radio network (820 AM in Tampa).

New football season tickets deposits are being taken, starting at $50. New season ticket sales for all fans will begin on Saturday, April 8. In-person sales will also take place at the annual USF Spring Game on April, 15.

The Bulls will play seven home games in Raymond James Stadium in 2017, hosting notable games vs. Illinois, Houston, Temple, Tulsa and Cincinnati.
