Orlando City's Cyle Larin called up to Canadian National team

Orlando City's Cyle Larin has been added to the Canadian National Soccer teams roster for the Gold Cup Quarterfinals. Larin was the only roster change for Canada after finishing second in Group A following a 0-0 draw with Honduras on Friday night. Canada will face the runners-up from Group C at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Thursday, July 20 at 10 pm. 

This will be Larin's second Gold Cup participation and the first appearance in the quarterfinals for Canada since 2009. Larin has scored 5 goals in 20 appearances for Canada and twice been voted runner-up in the Canadian Player of the Year voting. Larin has scored 39 goals in 76 matches for Orlando City including 8 goals in 17 appearances this season.
