Jonathan Isaac's NBA Summer League performance was memorable, and now brief.

The Orlando Magic's No. 6 overall pick in last month's NBA Draft is sitting out the final two games with what the club says is a left hip strain.

The Magic said the rookie forward suffered the injury in the second quarter of Monday's loss to Dallas, and while a MRI showed the strain, it isn't considered serious.

"It’s just a precautionary thing, (playing) three games in three days and he’s a rookie and on top of that he had three days of training camp with five practices, so he got through it all great,’’ Magic assistant coach Chad Forcier told OrlandoMagic.com after Monday's game. "So (holding Isaac out) is just precautionary.’’

The one-and-done player out of Florida State averaged 10.3 points, 8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 18.5 minutes per game. He had nine points in the first half on Monday. He had a double-double (15 points, 13 rebounds) against Miami on Sunday.
