"Not Happy, Not Happy", were the first words out of Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter's mouth on Wednesday after he was asked by reporters how he felt practice went.

"When I make comments like that, I'm talking about the team because you win as a team and lose as a team."

Koetter was upset with the team's transition from the film room to the football field and it showed up on Wednesday. Several players did not participate in practice including Mike Evans, Brent Grimes (laceration), Josh Robinson, Kwon Alexander (hamstring), and Devante Bond.

Koetter said his star wide receiver's absence was nothing serious but it gave rookie wide receiver Chris Godwin a chance to work in a few more reps with the first team and the third-round draft pick took advantage by making several impressive catches in and out of traffic.

Godwin was not the only player to standout. Koetter mentioned the work Lavonte David, Gerald McCoy and Cameron Brate have put in "every day."

The Buccaneers will wrapup training camp on Thursday as they continue to get ready for the third preseason game of the year and the first home preseason game of 2017 against the visiting Cleveland Browns.

Koetter praised the attendance of the team's fans during training camp this year and especially during the final days of camp with school starting across the state.

Koetter jokingly encouraged all the fans who need "practice cheering for the team" to show up on Saturday and get some work in so they are in regular season form when the Chicago Bears come to town for the home opener on Sept. 17 at 1:00 p.m.
