UCF has added a sixth home football game to its schedule. The school announced on Thursday it will play Austin Peay at Spectrum Stadium on Oct. 28. Kickoff time has not been announced yet.

The Knights lost two games because of Hurricane Irma. Their game with Georgia Tech was canceled. The Memphis game was rescheduled for Sept. 30, which forced a home game against Maine to be called off. UCF will now play 11 games this season.

"Our guys work really hard for the payoff of a finite number of games. Losing two of those was going to be tough for them," said UCF head coach Scott Frost. "I know our fans would have been disappointed as well. I give tons of credit to Danny White and our administration for the effort they put in to give our student-athletes another opportunity to go out and compete in front of our great fans."
