Buddy Pittman, Auto Racing Expert
Buddy Pittman brings decades of covering NASCAR to Bright House Sports Network as a racing analyst, and a regular contributor to BHSN.com.
A native of Georgia, Pittman moved to Orlando in 1971. He began his career in the production department at WESH-TV in Winter Park, and eventually became a sportscaster there. He worked for a brief time in Cininnati and at Channel 6 in Orlando, but spent over 30 years at WESH before retiring in 2006. During that time, he earned his stripes as a NASCAR insider, covering nearly 40 Daytona 500s in his time in Central Florida.
Pittman was a part of the Bright House Game of the Week football broadcasts in 2006 and 2007.
When Bright House Sports Network began, he hosted a motorsports show called Lights, Camera, Traction. He can currently be seen covering the happenings at Daytona International Speedway, along with the St. Pete Grand Prix, and gives his insight on the NASCAR world several times a week in an exclusive column on BHSN.com.
