His most impressive career achievement is his Cy Young Award in 1988, when he won a career high 24 games.
In 1989, two years after Viola led the Twins to a World Series in 1987--when he was named the Series MVP--he was traded to the Mets, where he had a great 1990 season, finishing third in the Cy Young voting.
Frank signed with the Red Sox in 1992 before finishing his career in Toronto in 1996. He finished his career with 1844 strikeouts.
