The Bass Federation in partnership with FLW and The Osceola County Department of Tourism announced it will host the 2013 Student Angler Federation Florida High School Fishing State Championship on Sunday, March 10. The event will be held in Osceola County on Lake Toho in Kissimmee launching out of Big Toho Marina.

The red snapper is a fish found in the Gulf of Mexico and the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States and, much less commonly, northward as far as Massachusetts.These fish commonly inhabit waters 30 to 200 feet deep and feed on a diet of mostly crustaceans and fish. They can live close to 50 years and grow to 50 pounds or more. The state record is 46lb 8oz, caught near Destin.
