Two people were hospitalized Tuesday morning when an airplane they were taxiing at Pierson's airport tipped over.
A female pilot was airlifted to Halifax hospital and a male passenger in the plane was driven to Florida Hospital in Ormond Beach, according to Volusia County spokesman Andrew Gant.
Volusia Fire Rescue officials received the initial call just before 11 a.m.
