Fire crews say they've stopped a brush fire that briefly threatened homes in the Grant-Valkaria area Sunday afternoon.
The fire started near Toby Avenue and Valkaria Road at a quarter of an acre and grew to between 6 and 10 acres in size.
Several agencies took part in stopping the fire, and are now mopping up hot spots.
No word on what caused this brush fire.
