Friday is day four of the murder trial against Stephen Duxbury, the security guard accused of killing Sasha Samsudean in her Orlando apartment in October 2015.

The state called several witnesses on Thursday, including detectives, Duxbury’s boss and Samsudean’s landlord.

Much of Thursday’s testimony revolved around the medical examiner.

"It did have the odor, as I would describe, as cleaning solution," described Dr. Gary Utz, Deputy Chief Medical examiner of District 9. "I'd be an idiot not to entertain the idea of a sexual assault."

Investigators found Samsudean's body in her apartment complex.

Duxbury faces charges of first-degree murder, attempted sexual battery with a weapon or physical force, and burglary of a dwelling with assault or death.
