The man accused of shooting two people at a Kissimmee nightclub faced a judge Sunday.

Josue Carrasquillo, 28, was denied bond. He faces charges of second-degree murder and attempted murder.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Carrasquillo fired shots when a fight broke out at the La Cantina bar on Orange Blossom Trail on Saturday.

When deputies arrived, they found two men with several gunshot wounds. Eliezer Gonzalez, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man, whose name has not been released, was taken to a hospital for his injuries.

Carrasquillo cooperated with investigators, the Sheriff’s Office said.
