A man wanted in connection with the slaying of a woman whose body was found on the side of a Sumter County road was taken into custody Sunday afternoon.

  • Terrance Kwamaine Williams was wanted in connection to Wildwood homicide
  • Barbara Lynn Grubb's body was found on side of CR 231 on Feb. 12
  • Williams taken into custody without incident

Terrance Kwamaine Williams of Wildwood, 21, was one of four people found at a home on North Rosewood Street in Bushnell, according to Sumter County deputies.

Williams is considered a suspect in the homicide case of 35-year-old Barbara Lynn Grubb, whose body was found on the side of County Road 231 in Wildwood on Sunday morning, Feb. 12. Her upper body showed signs of critical trauma, investigators said.

Williams was booked into the Sumter County Detention Center.
