A 14-year-old is accused of snatching the keys from a woman at a Volusia County elementary school and then driving off with a car, police said.

The incident happened at about 12:47 p.m. Wednesday at Ormond Beach Elementary School, located at 100 Corbin Ave.
The suspect snatched the car keys from a female and took the car without her permission, police said.
The vehicle, a 2008 Ford Focus, was later located in Daytona Beach. The suspect was arrested after he abandoned the vehicle, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
