State Road 44 at Interstate 75 in Sumter County was closed after a truck driver received a threat, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said a tractor trailer driver received a text message Saturday afternoon saying that something explosive was on his rig.
The driver pulled over near a Pilot gas station near SR 44 and I-75 in Bushnell.
Deputies, Sumter firefighters and the Lake County Bomb Squad all responded to the scene.
Authorities investigate the truck, but didn't find anything explosive.
The scene was given an all clear about 6:20 p.m. and the roadways were reopened.
