The teenager who died after jumping into quarry Hardrock Cycle Park in Ocala on Saturday has been identified, according to Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Tampa resident Zachary Isaiah Newton, 18, jumped into the water, but did not come out, 10 other teenagers told authorities when they arrived at the park at 11 a.m., Saturday.

The medical examiner has not released the cause of Newton's death.

Authorities originally stated that Newton was 17 years old, but has since corrected his age.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Underwater Recovery Team was notified. The dive team entered the water and found the teen’s body at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
