A Marion County man is accused of raping and impregnating a 13-year-old girl in 2016 and then threatening to "shoot her house up" if she told anyone, deputies said Wednesday.

Avisus Sedale Davis, 28, of Ocala, has been charged with sexual assault of a victim under 18 years old, cruelty toward child — impregnate child under 16, possession of marijuana and two probation violations.

According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, the victim — who was 13 years old at the time — reported the rape after she gave birth to the child.

Detectives recently received DNA that confirmed Davis is the child's father.

The juvenile reported that in January 2016, she met Davis through a family member and she had asked to use the bathroom in his house.

According to a report, Davis forced himself on the female after she was finished in the bathroom.

The victim said Davis told her that if she told anyone what happened, "he would shoot her house up," deputies said.

Davis is currently being held at the Marion County Jail without bond.
